Vaccine Requirements
Puppies need the 2nd round of the Distemper-Parvo vaccine and the Bordetella to begin classes. That tends to take place around 12 weeks of age.
Dogs over 6 months of age must have Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper-Parvo Combo .
Orientation
Puppy I class has orientation the first night. The orientation is approximately 1 - 1.5 hours. We require that you bring your dogs vaccine record unless they were entered into our computer prior to class. We will introduce you to our training methods plus:
- What is needed for class
- Learning Theory - how dogs learn by operant and classical conditioning (associations).
- Reinforcements - What they are and how to use them.
- Problem Prevention
- Jumping
- Nipping, biting and chewing
- Cue System
- You will be taught a couple exercises to take home and teach your dog.

Puppies need handling and socialization. The sooner these things are taught to pup the better.
